Caprice - Sistersimplicty

Caprice have set the poems of Shelley, Byron, Burns,
Wordsworth and Shakespeare lyrics to music. I don't doubt the
huge talent of the group, but I am sorry
Sistersimplicty
simply left me cold. Musically the band are very accomplished but
the passion isn't there. It sounds like they have done this CD
for their college homework. Remember Lord Byron was 'mad, bad and
dangerous' to know. The Romantics were rebellious, and chaotic,
whilst particularly in the case of Shelley and Byron, they were
only accepted by respectable society one they were dead. Caprice
have made Shelley, Byron et al sound and prim and proper, and I
