Cornucopia - .c.

Cornucopia, are a duo comprising Jorge Castro (loop sampler, effects and magnetic tapes) and Claudio Chea (synthesizers and images) who began recording together in 1996. .c. is a remarkable sound piece composed from quiet ambience and environmental sounds. It takes a few moment before you notice the subtle drones creeping in. As it gently unfurls micro sounds are added, and later on watery textures emerge. It eventually subsides into more environmental ambience. It's like listening to ambient drone in a rainforest. Refreshing and inspired it never outstays its welcome and closes after 38 minutes.
