Ras.Al.Ghul - Sonic Yonic

Sonic Yonic is the latest CD from Portugese duo Ras.Al.Ghul. Featuring eleven tracks of floating electronics, where rhythms vary between dub and Eastern beats. Thankfully it avoids slipping into dismal new-age stylings but it's less intricate than the abstract electronics of the Warp stable, and less urgent than anything currently occurring in the techno fields. Sonic Yonik is perhaps closer to the tranquil electro sound of Chris and Cosey, and it is a competent and interesting stuff. For more information contact ras-al-ghul@clix.pt
