Various Artists - The Lotus Eaters, A Tribute to Dead Can Dance

Athens based Black Lotus Records have compiled this double CD Dead Can Dance tribute. Highlights of The Lotus Eaters must be the Antimatter version of 'Black Sun'. Beautifully sung with minimal electronic backing. Some artists such as Arcana have kept their contribution - 'In the Wake of Adversity' close to the original whilst Hortus Animae offer a meral versions of 'Windall introducing Summoning of the Muse'. Other acts who are featured include Ataraxia, Sarah Jezebel Deva (who has worked with Cradle of Filth), Amber Asylum, Jarboe (Swans), Faith and the Muse, Danny Lilker (Nuclear Assault).
